The launch of the VEF Minox in Lavia saw the first of the a complete series of accessories necessary to develop, present, enlarge a 8x11mm negative. From the 1938 introduction VEF produced tiny enlargers, tripods, negative wallets, daylight developing tanks, all designed to be portable.
Since 1938, this pocket sized tripod has supported 8x11mm, 35mm and digital cameras. It is made still and with a cable release built in. Even the Leica M camera (digital and film) has a cable release socket.
Still the best way to enlarge a well-exposed black and white negative to 9x6 inches
The best way to develop your Minox films because a darkroom is not needed to load the film from the cassette to the tank safely.
With built in thermometer/agitator. Choose from tank only, or tank and thermometer.
Keeping your negatives dust free with our new negative wallers. We have soe clasic wallets from the 1970's and 1960's in stock as well.
From simple flash cube devices, powered by teh camera (EC), to bulb and cube devices (A B C) to complicated early electronic flashes (ME1 and ME2) to the elegant 8x11 electronic flash, we stock the batteries, cubes and bulbs needed to operate.Of mainly collectors' interest now, only the tiny FL4 and 8x11mm remain geniunely useful.
The A, B and CL/BL cameras had differnt filter sets. Rarest is the A BW set, then a complete set of C filters. B colour filters are very common. The A BW set is interesting, because it has the only 10x ND filter ever made. The C/BL filters have Green and 2x Pink (R3/6) for slidfe film users - they remove the actinic edge of the slides.
Taking 3x3 slide mounts, the projectors are still the best way to show a minox slide.
Mino made two types of auxiliary viewfinders for the Minox A B C and BL cameras: those that were wais level (A B) and those which allowed a 90 degree picture: you look one way, camera looks the other (A B C and BL).
There were separate models for the A and B for both types, but one universal finder for all A B C and BL's. No finder fits the LX or EC series.
Allowing clear and risk free viewing of Minox negatives whilst still in their wallets both models clamp to the negative wallet to show negative and frame number.
The Viewer/Cutter has an extra feature: when a strip of slide film is inserted and a 3x3cm slide clamped to the bottom of the unit, the cutting lever deposits a single negative onto the slide mount.
Aluminum newly made or traditional plastic for the VEF and other cameras. Two types:
3x3cm slide mounts to project your slides inthe Minox Projector. Choose from the following packs
Two types of shoes: hot or cold. Hot shoe allows conventional flashes to be used without a PC sync cord. Cold shoes just sllow flah with cable to connect on the other end of the camera.
