The pricing is somewhat scary by today's values. The Minox 35 EL ,at £146 would cost £924 today. Cameras which are today highly prized such as the Rollei 35S get a bit of a clattering. Cameras which you would not think today would not be expensive, almost certainly were.

Minox 35 ML
By the 1990's. compact cameras had caught up with the price of the Minox 35 ML. But the competition had zoom lenses, autofocus, date and motor drives. The 35 ML, had, er, none of those features as standard, but compensated by an excellent lens.
