Documentation principles

The reference material published on this site is based primarily on original printed documentation issued by manufacturers at the time of production. Where such documentation exists in multiple languages, the original German‑language text is treated as the authoritative technical source.

Translated manuals and later reprints are used as contemporaneous factory publications, but may reflect linguistic, editorial, or commercial adaptation. Where clarification is required, interpretation follows the intent of the original German documentation, supplemented where appropriate by later factory publications relating to system behaviour or accessory use.

Where original documentation is silent, incomplete, or demonstrably reused without revision, this is stated explicitly. No speculative reconstruction is applied. Technical notes are included only to reconcile documented behaviour across contemporaneous factory sources.

This reference is updated as additional primary and original printed documentation is reviewed.

Citation guidance

When citing material from this reference, please identify the specific page title, the publisher (MS Hobbies), and the date of last revision where shown.
