International Minox Service & Limited Orders
MS Hobbies regularly undertakes Minox servicing for customers in Australia and New Zealand, as well as Europe, North America, Russian Federation and the Far East.
A limited selection of items may be added to a service request. We do not offer general international sales or a full export catalogue.

Customers in Northern Ireland should note that the Post Office may request completion of a paper customs declaration when sending a camera for repair. At present there is no electronic version available via the Post Office customs website for this type of shipment.

International service request
Please provide the following information by email, or print and enclose it with your camera. This constitutes a request for assessment only.
Shipping and customs
Cameras sent to MS Hobbies should be declared as: “Used camera sent for repair”.
Return shipments from MS Hobbies are declared as: “Used camera returned after repair”.
This wording helps minimise customs delays, but local customs decisions remain outside our control.
Indicative HS codes
- Photographic cameras (still image): HS 9006.59
- Photographic film, unexposed, width not exceeding 35 mm: HS 3702.31
- Photographic camera parts and accessories: HS 9006.91
HS codes are provided as guidance only. Customers are responsible for compliance with customs requirements in their own country.
EU customs procedure (CPC)
For customers in the European Union, cameras sent to MS Hobbies for servicing should normally be declared under:
CPC 21 00 00 – Temporary export for repair, no transfer of ownership
This procedure applies where the camera remains the property of the customer at all times and is returned after repair.
Customers are responsible for completing export and re‑import formalities in accordance with local customs requirements.
Postage guidance
United Kingdom
Serviced cameras returned within the United Kingdom are normally sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed.
- Up to 500 g: approximately £7.95
- Up to 1 kg: approximately £9.95
International Tracked Delivery
- Europe: £13 – £18
- United States: £18 – £26
- Rest of world: £17 – £28
Exact postage and insurance are confirmed when the service is completed.
