Minox Repairs — United Kingdom

This page is for customers within the United Kingdom sending Minox cameras (Minox 35 mm or Minox 8×11 mm) to MS Hobbies for repair or films to process.

Service scope:
MS Hobbies repairs only Minox 35 mm and Minox 8×11 mm. Other brands are not accepted.

Servicing:
Repairing 8x11 and 35 Minox cameras is an extremely specialised service. There are only three repairers worldwide who are prepared to tackle the 35s and the 8x11mm including VEF Minox. Two are in the US. Pricing is appropriate to the skills and expereience required to repair these cameras reliably.

Sending your camera

• Use Royal Mail Tracked 24 or Tracked 48
• Pack securely with internal padding
• Include your name, email address, and a short fault description
• If film is inside the camera, send it as it is

Please do not force unfamiliar mechanisms. If the shutter is stuck, leave it stuck.

Return shipping

Repairs are returned via Royal Mail Tracked. Typical delivery time: 1–3 days.

Payment

No pre‑payment: Payment is only requested after the repair is completed.
