We have recently purchaseda set of Leica Information Bulletins from 1975 to 2009. From 1975-2001, Leica also distributed Minox cameras and later binoculars. These are an invaluble source of historical data about product launches and user feedback on the Minox 35 and 8x11 camera. A saamplpe of the Minox 35 GL announcement from 1980 is listed here..
Cassette manufacturing project
A New Aluminium MINOX cassette
We are currently assembling a cassette prototype from aluminium, with an alumium case. Progress is steady. Updates: we are making the inner spool part based on the 1938 design in modern materials. This is proving a bit tricky.
