Film Processing for Minox, Disc, 110 and APS
Practical guidance for developing subminiature film.
General Considerations
All subminiature formats require careful handling during processing. Consistency, cleanliness and controlled technique are more important than speed.
Minox Developing Tank
The original Minox daylight developing tank is designed specifically for the 8×11 format and ensures correct film handling and spacing.
- Daylight operation
- Controlled agitation
- Reduced handling risk
Black & White Processing
Black & white films are the most forgiving choice for Minox cameras. Fine‑grain developers are generally preferred for best results.
Colour Processing
Colour negative and reversal films require accurate temperature control. Processing should follow the manufacturer’s specifications closely.
Drying and Handling
Due to the small negative size, dust control is critical. Films should be dried in a clean, still environment.
