1983 Programmed Integrated Flash
The Minox PE was a the first Minox 35 with an integrated flash. Otherwise, specification identical to the MInox PL.
Extra LED for the flash on the top plate and RED LED in the viewfinder.
PE Technical Specifications
Over-exposure red LED in the finder and no shutter speed indicator. Just turn the aperture until the red LED disappears. Third LED is for flash-ready
ACCESSORIES
The PE takes the GT filters. No need for a flash, and also a special pouch case for the extended length of the camera. You only see one PL case to 8 GT or ML cases these days..
USING THE 35 PE
Remember: watch out for the undrexposure RED LED mirrrored in the lower right of the viefinder. Over-ride exposure by the ASA film speed switch.
PRICING
The Minox PE is harder to find than most other Minox 35's. 28k were made, compared with the PL (143k). Value is less than is should be, given its rarity. We have one in stock, for £130.
