1981 GT 'Self Timer'
The most popular Minox 35 camera:. Serial numbers indicate 653343 produced. Serials were also assigned to spare body chassis yet to be assembled. The GT sold twice the amount of Minox B cameras ever produced, but the camera was 1/3rd the price of a subminiature, easier to service and an umlimited supply of 35mm film for a full-frame benefit.
GT Technical Specifications
The tried and tested GT was popular: 1981-1998. 668k sold, all the essentials: aperture priority, 35mm lens, and small size. It lasted beyond the Minox ML, which was launched in 1984 as the programmed exposure replacement for the GT and PL.
ACCESSORIES
An update to the GL, this model added a self timer and (later) top ISO of 1600 from 800.
