You can look at Minox images in three ways:

  • Surrealistic - using the small negative, strong enlargement and large grain to create a blocky, gritty, image
  • Realistic - using the camera for its designed purpose: document copying at the highest resolition
  • Impressionistic - using the 'watercolour' effect of a Minox colour negative with massive enlargements to retain an impression of an object
